Nutrition and health information can be very overwhelming and complex with the many fad diets in the news, new “superfoods” touting miracle health benefits, and people who freely distribute health information that isn’t accurate and sometimes dangerous.
I aim to decipher the facts from fiction and use realistic and effective approaches to incorporate into your lifestyle to reach your goals. On my blog I love to share healthy recipes and wellness articles aimed at helping your gut be it’s healthiest.
As a dietitian and nutrition coach, I am super interested in the gut and the role it plays in our overall health. Thus, Well Belly Nutrition® was born! I specialize in helping people with IBS navigate their digestive issues with the low FODMAP diet.
You can also find me blogging over on my other (non-low FODMAP specific) website at www.yourchoicenutrition.com.
My Professional Background
I am a Utah based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with a Master of Dietetics Administration from Utah State University.
I am a Monash FODMAP trained dietitian, ready to help you navigate the tricky food triggers that may be causing digestive upset.
Since becoming a registered dietitian in 2011, I have worked to provide tailored nutrition coaching and sustainable life changing services for my clients.
Let’s Get Personal…
My passion is health and nutrition; but I also love cooking and baking in the kitchen with my family and being active. I enjoy most physical activity, including running, home video workouts, basketball, riding my bike and walking.
At home, I am the wife to a wonderful husband (aka Mr. Well Belly) and mom to three handsome, bright boys and one sharp, beautiful girl. I have learned to make personal and family time just as important as work time.
I love crafting, reading, playing the piano, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with Mr. Well Belly and my kids. My favorite foods are strawberries, roasted vegetable chicken lasagna, and dark chocolate.
Now it’s your turn…I would love to hear from you!
